ALBATROZ ENGINEERING IS LOOKING FOR AN
Aeronautics Engineer (ref. 1401)
Albatroz Engineering created a system to inspect over-head lines named Power Line Maintenance Inspection [PLMI] to be used in manned helicopters.
Albatroz Engineering has recently been granted a EASA Part 21 DOA [Design Organisation Approval] privilege (reference 21J.400 EASA) for small and medium rotorcraft (CS 27) and large (CS 29) and intends to strengthen its team of "design engineers" in this field.
Thus, Albatroz Engineering is looking for an aeronautical or aerospace engineer to work in planning, design, conception and integration of tailor-made systems for inspection of over-head lines for international market.
The customised systems comprise structural, electronics and avionics function. The systems involve minor changes that subsequently will obtain an airworthiness certification by a third party expert, according to the specific context of each modification.
Education
- Bachelor degree (5 years) or Master degree (post-Bologna curricula) in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering; graduates in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering with relevant professional background in the field of aeronautics will also be considered;
- Fluency in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing);
- Fluency in other languages (especially in French, German, Spanish and Italian) will be valued;
- Practical experience with 3D physical representation software (AutoCAD, CATIA, Solidworks …).
- Knowledge of calculation tools and mathematical modelling.

- Inclination for life-long learing ;
- Knowledge of airworthiness (preferably).
Location
Lisbon. Travel within Portugal is likely and international travel possible upto a maximum of 90 days at a time.
