Décio S. Bento has a Master's Degree in Aerospace Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto. His professional interests include propulsion systems, aircraft stability and control and non-intrusive diagnostics.

From 2006 to January 2012, he was the head of all aeronautical projects at Albatroz Engineeing. At that date, he returned to Canada and keeps collaborating with the company in Design Organization Approval themes.

When not at work, reading, travelling and photography occupy his time.
