Former interns

Sergi Buitrago

from Lleida, Spain, took a Summer Internship in 2012 organized by IAESTE. We worked as a programmer to simulate sensors that are embarked on a virtual aircraft flying inside a flight simulator tool and also on the representation of power lines within the same simulator.

Raúl Sanchez

from Valencia, Spain worked as a software engineer in the modifications of an open source flight simulator aimed at simulating Power Line Maintenance Inspections with manned helicopters. His presence was organised by the Leonardo da Vinci program from May to July 2012.

Cléa Gil-Pereira

from Nîmes, France, is studying internation marketing at Lycée Albert Camus. As a part of her curriculum she took an internship at Albatroz Engineering from May to June 2012 to prepare the participation of the company at the Technical Exhibition of CIGRÉ2012.

Baljeet Yadav

came from Haryana, India to work on the automatic classificatiopn of vegetation growth matching survey data from the Instituto Geográfico Português (the national survey and land use services) with findings from LiDAR inspections. He presented his study plan to Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and worked at Albatroz from May to July 2012

Pedro Mendes

from Lisbon, Portugal, worked on severity analysis of power line maintenance inspection findings during the Summer of 2011.

Lukasz Strobin

from Lodz, Poland, worked on hardware and software development for 2D and 3D modelling during the Summer and Autumn of 2011.

Marco Arede

from Lisbon, Portugal, worked on mobile interfaces for tablets during the Summer of 2011.

Madalena Trindade

from Lisbon, Portugal, worked on power line sag detection during July of 2011.

from Córdoba, Spain, worked on international marketing during the Summer of 2011

Alejandre Pariente Ceballos

from Zaragoza, Spain, worked on power control for helicopter sensors during May 2011.

Wei Liu

from Lappeenranta, Finland, worked on automatic feature extraction from video during the Summer of 2010.

Pedro Martins

from Lisbon, Portugal, developed audit and quality control software for power line maintenance inspection during the Summer of 2010. Later, he joined the company.

Ana Rita Carvalho

from Paço d'Arcos, Portugal, made 3D models using the hardware and tools created by the company with graphic computing software during the Summer of 2010.

Nenad Filipovic

from Zagreb, Croatia, worked on Geographical handling of structured data during the Summer of 2008.

Daniel Sparing

from Budapest, Hungary, worked on bitmap data for geo-referenced databases during the Summer of 2007. He keeps a personal site.
